AMCP Foundation 25th Annual P&T Competition
Tuesday, April 1, 10am-1pm
The AMCP Foundation P&T Competition challenges student pharmacists to think in terms of real-world experience in the formulary decision-making process. The national competition is intended to give student pharmacists an opportunity to hone and test their skills in drug information, pharmacoeconomics, and effective presentation delivery. Don’t miss out on the presentations by the national finalist teams!
The study drug for the 2025 P&T Competition is VELSIPITY™ (etrasimod). Velsipity is a sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor modulator indicated for the treatment of moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis (UC) in adults.
Chapter Leadership Academy
Wednesday, April 2, 8am–Noon
The Chapter Leadership Academy brings together four officers and advisors from each of AMCP’s Student Chapters to equip them with tools and best practices to improve their chapter’s experiences. The Chapter Leadership Academy features a keynote presentation, presentations from chapters on successful events at their school and networking opportunities with other chapter leaders.

Student and New Practitioner Networking Reception
Tuesday, April 1, 5:30–6:30pm
Students and New Practitioners are invited to this networking reception to connect with other student pharmacists and new practitioners from around the country.
HBCU Travel Award
The HBCU Travel Award provides grants to defray travel expenses to AMCP national meetings, enabling future pharmacists to connect with industry leaders, engage in thought-provoking discussions, and gain valuable insights into managed care pharmacy. The deadline to apply is February 7, 2025.
